Why Ethical Clearance Matters

As an essential step in the research process, it promotes ethical integrity, responsible research practices, and compliance with established standards. This review process strengthens the credibility of research while fostering public trust in its outcomes.
Ethical Clearance Registration
Registration Flow
Account Registration
- Visit ums.id/kepkfkums
- Complete the registration form.
- The username must contain only letters and numbers, without spaces.
Login
- Log in using the registered username and password.
- Make sure the dashboard page appears after logging in.
Apply for Ethical Clearance
- Select the New Submission menu.
- Follow the registration wizard until a confirmation notification appears indicating that the submission has been completed.

- Application Form (download)
- Proof of Payment
- Research proposal that has been presented in a seminar and signed by the supervisor
Processing Time
- Ethical Clearance processing takes approximately 1–3 weeks on business days.
