The Health Research Ethics Committee of the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (KEPK FK UMS) is part of the institutional structure tasked with reviewing and monitoring all health-related research activities involving human or animal subjects.
The main goal of this committee is to ensure the protection of the rights, safety, and well-being of research subjects. In accordance with national and international provisions, KEPK FK UMS has the authority to grant approval, rejection, or request amendments to submitted research protocols.
REGISTRATION FLOW
Account Registration
- Enter the address ums.id/kepkfkums
- Complete the data in the registration form.
- The username must only use letters and numbers without spaces.
Login
- Log in using the registered username and password.
- Ensure that the dashboard page appears after logging in.
Ethical Clearance List
- Select the “New Submission” menu.
- Follow the registration wizard until there is a notification that the registration is complete.
Uploaded requirements
- Registration form (download).
- Proof of Payment.
- Proposal that has been presented in a seminar and signed by the main supervisor.
Processing Time
- The creation of the Ethical Clearance takes approximately 1−3 working weeks.
