A follow-up meeting was held between the University of Nottingham Malaysia and Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. Also in attendance were representatives from Acardia, a Malaysian technology company.
The University of Nottingham Malaysia was represented by Assoc. Prof. Gah Leong Kenny Voon. From Acardia, attendees included Omar Habib, MSc., Vice President of Strategy and Planning, and Mohammad Nezar Mohammad Zarir, Commercial Associate. The Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta team comprised dr. Yuni Prastyo Kurniati, Sp.PA, Dr. dr. Yusuf Alam Romadhon, M.Kes., Sp.KKLP, Muhammad Luthfi Hidayat, S.Pd.Si., M.Pd., Ph.D., and Helmi Imaduddin, S.Kom., M.Eng.
The meeting resulted in a mutual understanding to conduct joint research on the Development of Artificial Intelligence for Breast Cancer Histopathology Diagnostic Tools. The parties agreed on the need to prepare a tripartite Non-Disclosure Agreement draft between UMS, UNM, and Acardia for the development of the AI tool.
