Clinical Teaching FK UMS 2025

The Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (FK UMS), held a Clinical Teaching program on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 07:30 to 15:00 at Swiss-Belinn Saripetojo Hotel, Solo.

This event brought together clinical educators and medical students from the Professional Doctor Program of FK UMS, aiming to enhance the pedagogical competence of clinical teachers, ensure patient safety, and strengthen the overall quality of medical education.

🔹 Speakers:
1. dr. Atik Maftuhah, MHPE – Medical Education Unit, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sebelas Maret
2. dr. Bulan Kakanita Hermasari, M.Med.Ed., FFRI – Medical Education Unit, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sebelas Maret

The program focused on principles and methods of clinical teaching as well as assessment approaches in clinical education. Through this initiative, FK UMS seeks to foster alignment between patient care, experiential learning, and the professional development of medical students.
