Salatiga – The Faculty of Medicine at Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (FK UMS) conducted a relationship-building visit and collaboration discussion with Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana (UKSW) on Friday, November 21, 2025. The meeting, held at the Bina Karya Meeting Room, 2nd Floor of the GAP Building at UKSW, was attended by leaders from both institutions.
The FK UMS delegation was led by Prof. Dr. dr. EM Sutrisna, M.Kes (Vice Rector IV of UMS) and Dr. dr. Flora Ramona Sigit Prakoeswa, Sp.DVE, M.Kes (Dean of FK UMS), along with other faculty leaders. From the UKSW side, the meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Ferdy S. Rondonuwu, S.Pd., M.Sc (Vice Rector I of UKSW) and dr. Leonardo Trisnarizki, Sp.DV (Dean of FK UKSW), together with their team.
The meeting discussed various collaboration opportunities in education, research, and community service, with a particular focus on the development of medical education and specialization programs. The dialogue was warm and constructive, reflecting a shared commitment to advancing medical education in Indonesia.
Prof. Dr. dr. EM Sutrisna, M.Kes, Vice Rector IV of UMS, emphasized, “The synergy between UMS and UKSW is a strategic step in strengthening the quality of higher medical education in Indonesia.”
This visit is expected to strengthen the inter-university network and open concrete opportunities for cooperation in the development of medical education in Indonesia.
