Surakarta, October 19, 2025 — Students from the Faculty of Medicine, Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta (FK UMS), members of the Muhammadiyah Student Association (IMM) Ar Razi, held a free health check during Car Free Day (CFD) on Jalan Slamet Riyadi, Surakarta, on Sunday (10/19).
This activity took place simultaneously at three locations along the CFD area and attracted public enthusiasm, with a total of approximately 90 visitors participating.
Led by Azriel Hannan Bumi Mahaputra, the chief executive, this activity aimed to conduct health screenings for the general public through a series of tests, including blood pressure, weight, height, blood sugar levels, and uric acid levels.
The event was also attended by the Vice Dean III of the UMS Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Sulistyani, Sp.N., who expressed her appreciation for the students’ active contributions to community service activities.
“This is a concrete implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, particularly in the aspect of community service. Students not only learn in the classroom, but also directly contribute to the community,” she said.
Through this activity, IMM Ar Razi hopes to continue presenting activities oriented towards public health, while strengthening the role of medical students as agents of change who care about health issues in their communities.
