Initiating Strategic Partnership, FK UMS and PKU Muhammadiyah Sukoharjo Hospital Strengthen Tri Dharma Higher Education Collaboration

The Faculty of Medicine (FK) at Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) demonstrated its commitment to advancing medical education and healthcare services through a working visit to PKU Muhammadiyah Sukoharjo Hospital on Friday, October 24, 2025. The team from the FK UMS Professional Program, consisting of the Head of the Study Program, the Program Secretary, and the MoU Team, was warmly received by the Hospital’s Directorate and Training Staff.

The visit focused on initiating a strategic partnership in the field of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. Discussions covered collaboration plans encompassing three main pillars: enhancing the quality of medical professional education, conducting impactful research, and organizing community service. In addition to the discussions, the FK UMS Team also directly reviewed the hospital’s facilities, infrastructure, and resources to ensure the best quality in clinical learning and health services. Both institutions under the Muhammadiyah Charity Endeavor (Amal Usaha Muhammadiyah) warmly welcomed this synergistic initiative and agreed to promptly follow up on formulating the cooperation’s format and realizing it, with the hope of producing doctors of integrity and expanding benefits for the wider community.
