On Wednesday, October 29, 2025, in commemoration of World Psoriasis Day 2025, a collaborative research agenda took place as part of the RKI 2025 series, followed by a community service (PkM) activity.
This international research collaboration involves four institutions: the Faculty of Medicine Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (FK UMS), RS UNS, RSUD Dr. Soetomo, and the Department of Dermatology, Venereology, and Aesthetic Medicine, Erasmus University Rotterdam. Data collection and community engagement were held at the MER-C Building, RS UNS, featuring seminars and a discussion forum attended by lecturers from FK UMS and the Faculty of Psychology UMS, hospital staff from RS UNS, and student representatives from BEM FK UMS (Class of 2022–2024), including: Moch. Tabriz Azenta, Safira Syahida, Ilham Hafizha Maulana Anam, Istanif Nafisa Hilma, Meutia Dwi Anggraini, Intan Mustika Nugrahani, Annisa Khusnul Triyuniati, Rona Nasywa Mahira, Fahma Nur Hafidzah, Hanief Rifqi Falih, Rengganis Sungsang Kosala, Dzaki Albaihaqi, Alif Rachman Chresandiputta, Fawwaz Mahardika Pranata, Rizalta Risqi Ananda, Asrarul Iqbal, Asiyah Fahiimatul Qonitah, Muhammad Zaki, Reza Gunawan, M. Kevin Samudera, and Salwa Syafiqa Ramadhany.
Alhamdulillah, the series of activities commemorating World Psoriasis Day 2025 ran smoothly. Participants gained valuable insights into maintaining skin health for psoriasis patients and understanding the link between psoriasis and metabolic syndrome.
Insya Allah, this inter-institutional collaboration will continue successfully and generate meaningful contributions to the advancement of medical science—particularly in the fields of dermatology, immunology, internal medicine, and psychology.
Our deepest gratitude goes to all parties who have supported and contributed to the success of this event.
