Lecture by FK UMS Expert at FK UM Palembang: Family Medicine Approach

The Faculty of Medicine at UMS appreciates the presence of Dr Anika Candrasari, M.Kes., Sp.KKLP, FISPH, FISCM @anikacandrasari as a guest lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, Muhammadiyah University Palembang on 29 November 2025.

In this session, he presented material on the family medicine approach to comprehensive management of diabetes mellitus, emphasising biopsychosocial assessment, patient-centred care, and the role of family and primary care in successful DM management.

This activity strengthens academic synergy between Muhammadiyah medical faculties, improves family medicine learning capacity at UM Palembang, and contributes to strengthening medical students’ competencies through the scientific contributions of the UMS medical faculty.
