Sit In University

The Faculty of Medicine (FK) at Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) was trusted to host the “Sit In University” program for students from the Special Program Junior High School (SMP PK) Kotta Barat Surakarta.

This activity took place from October 13-17, 2025, and involved the SMP PK students interning in the teaching and learning activities, following the first-semester students at the UMS Faculty of Medicine.

Through this program, participants are expected to gain an overview of the lecture process at the Faculty of Medicine. This activity also serves as a platform for promotion and socialization for FK UMS and is held routinely once a year. This year’s event was attended by 47 students.

The students were welcomed by the Head of the S1 Medicine Study Program, Dr. Budi Hernawan, M.Sc.
