UMS Faculty of Medicine Lecturers Join PERDOSKI and KPA Surakarta in the HAS 2025 Campaign

In commemoration of World AIDS Day (WAD) 2025, two lecturers from the Faculty of Medicine at Muhammadiyah University Surakarta, namely Dr. dr. Flora Ramona Sigit Prakoeswa, M.Kes., Sp.DVE., Dipl.STD-HIV/AIDS, FINSDV, FAADV, @floraromaniyanto, and Dr. Ratih Pramuningtyas, Sp.DVE., FINSDV, FAADV @ratih_pramuningtyas actively participated in a health campaign organised by the Surakarta Branch of PERDOSKI @perdoskisolo  in collaboration with the AIDS Control Committee (KPA) of Surakarta City @kpasolo.

The event will take place on Sunday, 7 December 2025, in the Car Free Day area on Jl. Slamet Riyadi, with the centre of the event in Ngarsopuro, Surakarta. The theme is:

Together Facing Change, Maintaining the Sustainability of HIV Services: The Youth Generation Taking Action Against HIV/AIDS

This event features various public activities such as carnivals, entertainment stages, live murals, and free skin health checks as a form of education and direct service to the community.

The involvement of these two UMS Faculty of Medicine lecturers reflects the institution’s commitment to strengthening public health education, supporting HIV/AIDS prevention efforts, and contributing to the sustainability of HIV services through cross-professional and community collaboration.

The participation of FK UMS in the HAS 2025 campaign expands the reach of health education, raises public awareness about HIV/AIDS, and strengthens strategic collaboration between academics, health workers, and the community of Surakarta City.
