The poster impressed the judges thanks to its informative visuals, clear public health messages, and collaborative approach emphasizing the joint role of communities in disease control.
The Vice Dean III of FM UMS, dr. Sulistyani, Sp.N, expressed her appreciation for the students’ achievement.
“This is an outstanding accomplishment that reflects the creativity and social awareness of FM UMS students. We are truly proud of their dedication and their ability to excel at the national level,” she stated.
One of the team members, Elza Prameswari, shared that the poster development process involved intensive research and discussion to ensure scientific accuracy and public relevance.
“Our goal was to create a poster that is not only visually engaging but also easy to understand and genuinely useful for the community. We are grateful that our work was recognized,” Fandy said.
The team extended their gratitude to the faculty and program for providing continuous support throughout the preparation process, including academic guidance, facilities, and mental readiness before the competition.
This achievement is expected to inspire other FM UMS students to continue creating, innovating, and actively participating in scientific competitions. FM UMS remains committed to supporting students in developing both their academic and non-academic potential.
